@Zylesea

Well, on the 5121e, there's simply too many peripherals at too high speed for it to be possible to snoop and execute at the same time with a 400MHz cache. I don't use USB2 or SATA in our industrial application, so it hasn't been an issue.

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.

Not based on AmigaOS source code.

AROS is NOT AmigaOS.

I shake my head when people claim anything other than AmigaOS.x is AmigaOS - It isn't, but if it makes them happy, then I am pleased for them. However, to me its like claiming Pepsi Cola is the same as Coca-Cola. It isn't, but if people prefer Pepsi to coke, its their choice and its fine with me.

Now having said that, I would like to get this thread back on track, WHERE IS THE GODDAM NETBOOK HYPERION???

(There I feel better now!)

I totally (pun) agree with you, Amiga OS4 is the only real Amiga OS (ducks for cover), others are okay but they just aint the real thing no matter what! A bit like a young lad seeing a red sports car and saying to his dad "oh look a Ferrari" and his day saying "It's not a Ferrari son, it's a kit car that looks like one!"

We do not want to start this silly discussion about "who is right" again. I could say then 2-3 things too but it would lead to nothing. Everybody can keep its beliefs.

@OlafS25

But we are talking about a netbook/laptop that's for OS4 only so don't know why all others even interested?

I am not sure if I understand you right. I only said that this "AmigaOS is the only and true amiga successor (or Amiga at all) because it is based on 68k code" and similar lead to nothing because others have different opinions and discussions only lead to negativity...

Why should others not be interested in a Netbook? Me propably not but there are a lot of people using more than one OS. If the bundle (including the price and the hardware) is ok...

I also use windows, I can run that on a lot of hardware.

Hmm, this is beside the point, where was we?

Where is the Netbook which runs AmigaOS4???

@Mikey_C

I'd like to know it as well. Can someone who is registered there ask this question on the General AmigaOS or Off Topic forum at the Hyperion Entertainment Message Boards?

As AmigaOS 3.x is. AROS is completely different story, and 68k port is just the latest incarnation. From OS 3.x code successors are OS 4.x as direct port. AROS and MorphOS as rework

Really we should not continue with that... I am the maintainer of a Aros 68k based distribution (working on a update at the moment ) and very involved in the whole project so I could say a lot of things now. But it really leads to nothing. So please stop at that point.
