@Xmas87

The only information gathered is about the computer you are using hardware and OS wise no other info apart from the sign up questions is stored. All this information is tallied up and shown by pressing the Community Statistics tab. No identifiable data is shared.

@djrikki

Like you would tell us if you were data mining us :)

Anyway, JACK is a must try for every os4 user it has a lot of nice features. I've been using it since it came out.

I'll download the files manually from that link you gave me but I can assure you upgrade through JACK itself is missing the MUI royale library.

@djrikki

Well I downloaded the mui royal archive from the hollywood site per your link and JACK still wont launch. now I get this error

Quote:
cannot read file gui.xml (next line) file:calendar.hws (current line:28 - in function: FileTostring

very frustrating considering I updated from jack itself and now its broken. I would have left it alone as it was working.

Approaching 100 registered users of the App-Store. Albeit not a massive figure its reasonable all the same. Don't forget and guys you can now add your own comments and reviews about all the software featured.
Although I am completely unable to measure whether users are being pro-active in using the Donation tab it would be nice to think that you are showing your appreciate to the small army of AmigaOS developers out there in the community however you see fit.

Hi all,

Don't suppose anyone knows a service that is still offering a free Weather Forecast by RSS-XML that I can use with Jack.

The current service was made obsolete in the last couple of years, cheeky barstewards switched to OOAuth and ask for money!

@djrikki

There appear to be several suggestions here:

MUI Royale 1.2 news item never made it to Amigaworld it seems.. well here is a new feature to whet your appetite. Icon Tabs.

MUI looks so much more modern now doesn't it?

Looks clean and nice. Fabio is busy with the graphical indieGO -client and UI (which follows a different approach) and I always forgot to ask you if you like to make "additional" use of the indieGO- API so your users can also access the indiego store.
In that matter we can discuss and test the referral system.

Jack was working fine with 4.5 but now that I updated it to 4.6, it won't work anymore :(

How to solve this?

@Tarzin

Interface wise, translation can be done directly by editing Jack.xml (root directory) in NotePad. Feel free to do one for your language and upload it somewhere. Aside from that there are many internal messages that must be otherwise be translate. But the interface would be a good place for anyone to start providing me with language files.
