No more lags / crackling / forgotten setting ? I.e. everything now as it should, just one time save the prefs, and eveything works fine all the time ?

Btw, what else lacks on sam460 now ? Only onboard sata driver to work in dma mode ?

AND SAM 460 will be fully supported by OS 4.1 and suppose out of box in 4.2

Still having problem with sound disappearing when i start my computer. If i do a reboot it appears. Yes, i hope Hans will finish his RadeonHD driver soon. Been very quiet from him lately but i guess he is working hard.

Great to hear... I will love being able to use a PCIe-1 soundcard in the sam460...
but I will concentrate on getting a sam440 first then I can consider adding a sam460 to my listing of machines.

jippy!!!! finally.. i was giving up with the sound.. I've tested 3 SB cards.. and i bought the amikit sound card.. it was for the x1000 so i was sure it would fit into my sam460, but suprice suprice.. it didn't fit.. i don't know what type off pci card it is..
so no sound.. for me.. the amiga is all about the sound..

but now maybe this will work.. it is for the best.. then we have a pci slot available

I tried soft rebooting AmigaOS4 several times after running some apps. Sound doesn't disappear here. I have Workbench boot sound enabled.

Btw are you running Sam460 in PCI-e 4x + SATA mode ?
I am running in PCI-e 4x + PCI-e 1x mode

New audio driver is very good. Very clear good sound coming from speakers. AmigaAMP3, Tunenet works fine..

What is missing in Sam460 now ?
Onboard SATA DMA and enabling Uboot update for PCI-E 1x slot.
