@FairdinkemMy advice is to find the Pegasos Book online there is extensive instructions on installing various distros.Oh, also SUSE 11 ppc works out of the box from the dvd installer iirc.
@realizeThanks man really helpful advice.
@realizeunfortunately the link to the 2006 update of the Pegasos book is down and no longer available and the version of it I already had does not make mention of Linux installation.
@Fairdinkemsoo, do you have internet connection where your trying this machine then ?i suggest using the NetBoot instead of using large iso files and dvds etc.go to : http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-powerpc/current/images/powerpc/netboot/and download the file named "vmlinuz-chrp.initrd" and boot from that to get the installer running.and check the forum pages for any help you might need/require : http://www.powerdeveloper.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=7hope this helps and report back if you have any troubles :DX
