Hmm, i dont remember well, but can you not use pagestream to transform the pages into html? Or was that something in the beta version only?

No, HTML export has never been implemented in PageStream. I use version 5 for Windows almost every day and it certainly doesn't have it.

But PictureManager5 from IrseeSoft offers conversion of catalogs into html - but this is OS 3.x

Also for OS 3.x is the web design package (forgot the name - will have to look at home) that came with the commercial version of AWeb one decade ago or so...

I never found something easy to use to create webpages on amiga.

A while ago, I was using proged which includes some stuff to create web content, that was good enough to learn html and php, but the author is not active in amiga os anymore, and although some friends of him helped me to get in touch with the author in order to "revive" proged, I never managed to get a reply from that guy.

reading the whole thead, it doesn't seems there is someone happy with the situation on our platforms.

Anyway, I finally found THE application I was searching for years, *that runs only on pcs unformtunately* - but it's frankly easy to build something good.

http://www.windev.com/webdev/index.html

Not sure wether the docs is in English or not, mine is in French which is ok for me.
Pro: Easy to learn (around one week to be able to bring something good), complete
Cons: Windows, expensive application, it requires a complete server (no boring php provider, a real virtual server...). The soft includes a licence for (if I remember well) 5 concurrent connections, or you'll have to buy an unlimited server key, the whole thing costs around 1500€ without VAT+virtual server. Some providers includes the engine required to serve webdev pages, this could be a good choice if you don't want to bother about seting up a webserver and installing the engine on that server.

Anyway, nowaday, many web hosters provide the web builder application with their hosting, which is quiet good for building webpages. But if the goal is to write and understand all you build....forget it.

@AmigaOneProductions

I used to use Final Writer to make web pages. Just saved the document as html. Couldn't have been any easier.

@AmigaOneProductions

I use GoldED/CubicIDE which got Syntax Highlighting, "templates" (e.g. for fontsize, tables, colors...) and got an exitensive inbuild help System for HTML.

Creating html image galleries I use iBatch. The Addhtml Plugin for iBatch will create fully navigateable image galleries in pure html, which can of course be edited/enhanced (manually) as well. An example can be viewed here:

Well I know Google Doc works (a little slow) but you could make a basic web page on that.

Plus I just checked and surprised that TinyMCE Brower version works on both OWB and Timberwolf, and its pretty quick, so that might be a solution just copy and past that source into a text file and you have your web site. (hell I might even use it :) )
