@asymetrix

Yes, it definitely does NOT work on a PC. I downloaded the latest version of winamp, installed it, went to file -> OPEN URL and put in " http://stream.ziaspace.com:8000/;stream.nsv" and it loads, gets to 100% and gives me an error" Error opening video output". I have tried changing all the video options I can find in winamp, it does not work.
I also tried opening URL http://amigaworld.net:8000/listen.m3u and all I get is a file not found error.
PCs suck.
Is this working on anyone's PC using winamp...if so, what long list of things need to be installed on your system to get it to work. I am using Windows XP with the latest service pack.

I want to stay anonymous, so none of the disgruntled Amiga forum members I have moderated sneak up behind me with a club to get revenge for being banned from posting forum messages.

Shall I make an obscene gesture toward the video camera, so you will know which person wandering around the show is me?

How do you manage that,
What app are you using?
I tried downloading VLC, but no binary is available

Yes, same for me using Mplayer on my AmigaOne. No sound, just white noise. I hope they fix that soon! And uh oh, the video camera battery is dying ... better plug it in!

Tuned back in and video is ok again!!

The problem is all I can hear is the quiet drone of static! Did someone trip over the twin phonos?

Hey the white noise just stopped... now .... nothing

I'm left with the sound of my last bit of interest in Amiwest waning....

At least I learnt something from Troikas announcement in 2005, that they were deluded!

All I've learnt from this is that Amiwest organisers can't keep and audio and video stream going in unison it's either one or the other

I'm running the same program on a Mac and although it was working earlier when they were testing the system at around 18:10 GMT it certainly has no sound now!

@BigD

Due to the change of venue at the late date, the hotel accommodations and facilities, including particularly the Internet Service, are less than optimal. I am surprised that Bill Bosari is able to stream anything at all from this location this year.

Best way to experience AmiWest is in person, not through some streaming content on the Internet.

You really need to be here to appreciate the whole AmiWest Experience.

Edit: If you start planning now, I am certain that any of you reading this message could make the trip to attend the 2013 AmiWest Show a possibility. One dedicated user named Alex rode the bus all the way from Los Angeles, because he could not get a commitment from any other users from that area to car pool with them. That 8 to 10 hour bus ride each way shows REAL dedication and determination to attend the AmiWest Show. I give him a great deal of credit, as I doubt I would make the same sacrifice to attend the AmiWest Show.

If Alex can make it to the show by bus, I am sure that many more of you can plan and make it here next year, if you only plan far enough in advance and begin saving what ever money you would need to make it possible, I am confident that 99% of you could do it.

Our sponsors can only continue to support the AmiWest Show if people are going to attend the show and purchase their products, or at least be potential buyers.

There are lots of good reasons to attend any Amiga show or event that happens within your travel range, no matter where you live. If you can't come to AmiWest next year, go to some other Amiga event that may be closer to where you live.

Actively support the Amiga community and it will continue to actively support your use of Amiga and Amiga-Like systems.

@Swoop

Oplayerhd lite from app store.

Not overly impressed with the roadmap presentation. Little lacking in detail and commitment to action... When how by who etc.
