@Raziel

No.
AAmp can display an information window with many information including a little cover area BUT only by demand.

aTunes automatically display a window with only the cover of the played song.

or I missed something...

@Epsilon

Thanks as always for another entertaining blog entry. It was your blog posts that primarily convinced me to get back into the Amiga scene a few years ago with the X1000!

As it happens, life throws a curve ball and I'm going to have to sell my X1000 to raise some much needed funds. Just wondering if you know anyone that might be interested in a min condition X1000 for their collection.

I'm not really sure where to advertise such a niche machine, and would prefer to avoid the eBay experience if possible.

Cheers
Rod

@Epsilon

Excellent blog as usual

@nightwing

If you don't want t use eBay you could always post to the classified pages in AW,net or try Amibay, which is dedicated to Amiga hardware.

That was a misunderstanding.
I thought it wasn't clear that AmigaAmp does display all informations out of the ID3 tag, even the album cover.

Sorry, if it sounded like degrading your program...that wasn't intended at all.

Thanks for review!

Looks like interesting game. Although I don´t like GFX style, I may try it in WinUAE.

It's almost too much these blogs. The Amiga community is stil rich with people writing articles about the scene. What we lack we make up for in blogs. And I find I struggle to keep up with reading. An ironic twist to blogging blessings. Keep up the good work!

It looks as if there are no gfx designers/artists left in the Amgia world anymore :( Looking back at the Amiga game creations 30 years ago makes me sad. I am sure we can still find programmers and musicians though. Don't want to sound too critical, I admire every effort, I just wish it would be possible to have more game projects (free or commercial) where multiple people would collaborate, contribute different components, and produce something more well-rounded.

@toRus

30 years ago games were in 320 * 200, not 1920 * 1080 plus. Also Laraid is a port from Windows/Mac/Linux, so I guess they have no gfx artists either.

@Zylesea

TurboCalc works on OS4. Though it can crash if you drag select a large portion of sheet. It can load Excel but only the old fashioned Excel '95 format which hardy would be used now. But it cannot load dates as these are corrupted. According to Gnumeric from AmiCygnix this maybe because Excel doesn't use DD/MM/YYYY format. The modern XML format forget it. Except Gnumeric should be able to handle it.

Keep up the good work fella, this Amigaone500 owner really appreciates the time and effort you have put into your blogs and the clarity of your guides. It has certainly helped me get more out of my machine and try out new software
