BTW if a Morphos coder wants to recompile Wazp3D with OpenGL support for Morphos and encounters some problems he may contact* me : I will help him for wazp3D & GL side
but for the OS specific part (ie Morphos lib-header & creating a custom GL context) I wont help him as I dont know Morphos' OS-dependant-coding at all :-/

@thellier

thanks alain, having wazp3d maintained on all platforms also morphos would be surely profitable for all of us. perhaps if some contributors volunteered to write hardware backends for specific implementations it could replace the original warp3d altogether (also hardware accelerated on newer radeon hd cards) and in particular remove the weight of these tasks off the shoulders of os4 core developers, who then could turn their attention to more essential issues and proceed faster.

@thellier

I started initial porting of Wazp3D few weeks ago just for fun but it has been now suspended due to my work in the USA. Anyway I have already made OS3 library header to compile for MorphOS and wrote library stubs. It doesnt look difficult task to do but as long as I am here long way away it is not progressing... :)

@itix

The Morphzone user "BSzili" has contacted me to port Wazp3D to Morphos

But if you have already made some Morphos parts especially
the library header
the ppc glue functions
the 68 to ppc glue functions
then we are interested to have those sources to finish the job

Simple R300 vs R200 Benchmarks from MorphOS 3.2 review on Obligement website:

Quake 3, 1280x1024 32 bit
Mac mini G4 1,75 GHz, Radeon 9200 - 29,6 FPS
PowerBook G4 1,67 GHz, Radeon 9700M - 38,2 FPS

@Templario

That's normal, you can't screenshot an overlay surface (easily). If you want to take a screenshot of mplayer running, you'll have to use wpa output driver instead.
