MorphOS on SAM460 has been already showed so it wouldn't be that much of a secret...

I wonder, if there's a new Acube OS4 board coming, is it going to replace SAM460 or is it going to slot in between SAM460 and X1000.?

@tlosm

That's an ARM powered device, so OS4 version is out of the question.

I was here in 2008 but you seem to be the only one knowing this, can you point us to the relevant announcement?

Well, if SAM 460 would become their mid to low product, that would kill SAM 440.

Anyway, except for that one test result, no wonders and signs

@vox

It would be really nice to have a new, minimalistic low end system.
(1Ghz, 1GB, below 500 eur)

Witout commenting on the plausibility of such a design at this time, I would say this wouldn't be ALL wrong, especially considering the price of that chip (if Avnet is to be trusted at all):

@Spectre660

I would guess that new POWER ISA is either e500mc, e5500 or (fingers crossed) e6500. I would rather have e500mc than e5500, but e6500 would be awesome at this point.

I think that could be quite a good guess. The "M" fits and another apm design is not too unrealistic. Acube's new partnership with MAS might yield to a higher demand for such boards. Would be nice, we'll see.

Ummm in 2008 I was someware ... But for sure acube is the only hw company in Amiga scene who say,did and make something hardware working and real... Aeon come after and only with one product... Acube do everytime new boards, new product and gave support of it product.

Be an m or an n isn't important the most important is they do something ...
I know There are some Italian trollers who all the time write bed things about the great Enrico and Massimiliano hope you are not one of them.

+1, quality products and service for our favourite OS today and most importantly when we were in limbo after that long winded court case so thanks to ACube
