oh please don't focus on the spitting over Hyperion's work, the only real recognizable continuation of the Amiga legacy to date.. and don't focus on the "always late and disorganized" thing, either |
LMAO now that is a silly statement. Umm what about the Morphos and AROS teams? |

:/ Here we go again. I think Skuggan's attitude as displayed in Spotify thread is much more healthy, talking to all flavours of Amiga OS.
Each to their own, but i dont get why there always has to be lines drawn in discussions. I realise you responded to a comment, but the tone isnt actually helpful with regards to keeping it civil/avoiding another 10 page thread about the merits of xyz OS and why its the best ever and why others are horrible. AOS = using the 3.1 codebase, bearing the Amiga name. this is all I meant.
Btw if Ishould advocate for something, it would be Aros.
Now, Robert where are you? I engaged you on the same "update" question in two other topics making sure you were around before posting, and still nothing. We are starting to ve worried :((((((( |

Personally I think the best contribution you could make to the Amiga OS4 community is to either shut up and produce some native OS4 software or leave.
Stop ranting on about a linux 'OS4 like' desktop. You're missing the big point that Amiga OS4 IS NOT Linux, if we did want linux there's plenty of flavours to choose from already.
I think you don't have a clue about half of what you talk about, porting amiga/mos progams to linux won't work they're too tied into the system, you would have to rewrite huge chunls of them from scratch for linux or port every .library file which you don't have the source for or could even get.
Basically I think you're full of bullsh*t. Just my opinion. Mods ban me or edit if you must but I'm getting very fed up with this tos... erm... gentleman. _________________ OS4 Rocks X1000 beta tester, Sam440 Flex (733)
