The same poster (DamienMcKenna) on twitter who claimed mid-November launch now claims another delay and another self-imposed launch date:

Quote:
We are still anticipating release before Xmas. Hang in there, we can't legally say anything just yet.

The humor in this post speaks for itself:

Quote:
They can't both be shells! There has to be truth somewhere in here and I'm willing to hold till end of Dec. to find out!!! Amiga inc would benefit nothing from backing a shell and would stand to lose major credibility.

Source

Imagine if Amiga Inc. were to lose its "credibility". Sheesh!

Apparently none of the latest Amiga Inc. shell companies are returning mail atm. RetroInfinity was recently formed, much like Amiga Games Inc.
In addition:

Letter sent to Eric Mitchell of Writers Group Film Corp (WRIT)

I suppose what is most odd about all this is that people invest their money FIRST, THEN start to do their due diligence. I would have thought that sequence is backwards. *shrug*

No release of games by Amiga Games Inc. before Christmas.

To be fair, Damien said:

Quote:
We are still anticipating release before Xmas.

And that's merely hopeful, not a release date.

This marks the 3rd delay as I read it. Still no official response from AGI or WRIT at:

Things are getting rather nasty on the investor's site for WRIT.

Many posts are being deleted today.

this gives one the general flavor of the troubles

(I expect it to be deleted soon, so...)

I've lost track of how many self-imposed deadlines they've placed on themselves, but here's the latest posting about a statement concerning an upcoming announcement about an announcement. (evil grin)

@Darrin

Announcement day is here!

So far we have a redesigned website for the "investors":

http://investorshub.advfn.com/Writers-Grp-Film-Corp-WRIT-17324/

Sadly they copied the same spelling error from their prior releases.

Amiga Games Inc. is still listed:

Quote:
WRIT Media Group's Subsideraries

Does that mean they are not a subsidiary? (evil grin)

and a new filing of the reverse stock split:

name change and restructure

Nothing yet from Amiga Games Inc., where the facebook post was made about "BIG" news.

Credit where credit is due. Spelling error (subsideraries) corrected.

Wonder if their big news is related to any of the big surprise that Amibyte announced? There was an announcement made on their Facebook page about switching to more "retro" themed machines. Both in software and games. However this was replaced with the big surprise announcement and I clean forgot to get a screens hot before it was replaced.

@CritAnime

Actually, the Amibyte site seems to have been redesigned since last I checked.

They also added some new text:

Quote:
ADVICE !

Last CUsa C64x stock available! Come On!

This does not preclude them working with Commodore and their restart of operations of course.

Just my opinion, but I see no reason on this green earth for Commodore to be interested in the Amiga. They clearly can do whatever they want now with Commodore, whereas making any connection to "Amiga" is just a legal minefield they really don't need.

DTCC "Chill" Removed From WRIT Media Group Inc. Common Stock

Once again, If these pieces of "BIG" news concern WRIT, I don't understand why Amiga Games Inc. facebook reported "BIG" news coming Tuesday/Wednesday unless they are doing social media FOR WRIT now. If so, it would be nice if they mentioned that, since people were obviously expecting something more related to Amiga from that posting. *shrug*

Apparently it's not just me. Right after the above posting I saw a new post pop up on the WRIT investors' site, expressing a similar thought:

Quote:
OK, we got two news. Tuesday and Wednesday. The restructuring of the common shares and the lifted DTC chill. Can we expect more?
According to Amiga Games Facebook site I assumed some game releases.

Retro Infinity Inc., Announced Delivery of Preview Gaming Titles to Microsoft Corporation

Quote:
Retro Infinity Inc., a Subsidiary of WRIT Media Group, Inc., Announced Delivery of Preview Gaming Titles to Microsoft Corporation

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 6, 2014) - Retro Infinity Inc., a subsidiary of WRIT Media Group, Inc. (OTCQB: WRITD) and a publisher of classic video games for a wide range of devices including tablets and smartphones, announced today the delivery of its first eleven preview games to Microsoft. The games are made available on Microsoft's Apps for Windows store through the Retro Infinity/Amiga Games co-marketing and distribution agreement with Microsoft Corporation. As previously announced, the Microsoft agreement will eventually bring between fifty and five hundred classic game titles to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8. The titles of the first wave of delivered games will be announced in accordance with Microsoft's distribution and release of each game in the Apps for Windows store. Gamers can find title updates via Retro Infinity's and Amiga Games' Facebook and Twitter pages.

"Microsoft has put a spotlight on mobile gaming and we are very pleased that they chose our company to be a part of their Windows and mobile gaming experience," said Patrick Roberts, President of Retro Infinity Inc. and its brand Amiga Games Inc. "Windows 8 and Windows Phone are great platforms for us to begin to preview, showcase and sell our best titles."

One thing to remember here, given they keep true to their earlier press releases. None of these games have anything to do with Amiga.

Quote:
"The Retro Infinity brand will allow us to greatly expand the population of potential game licenses for our catalogue beyond the roughly 2,000 games released for the Amiga," said Eric Mitchell, Chairman of CEO of Writer?s Group Film Corp. "Retro Infinity will first target MS-DOS games, which number over 5,000 and then focus on acquiring earlier versions of present day gaming franchises."

earlier source in this thread

If true to this statement, then when we discover the actual titles of the first "11", they should be MS-DOS games. We'll see...

Channel Application Development and Games Distribution Agreement with Roku, Inc.

For some reason this is only in the 8-K and not issued as a press release at the time of posting.

Quote:

On-topic for those who are concerned about who uses the boing ball and how it is viewed by a more general public:

what about Updating the Amiga Games web site and getting rid of the bouncing ball come on already.

I haven't been ignoring this topic. Just simply nothing to report.

The stock did a reverse split and continued to drop drastically in price.
Neither Amiga Games Inc. nor any of the other shells have delivered a single product of any type for distribution as of this date.

Fanboys continue to repost the announcements of all the partnerships from last year, no doubt in hopes of propping up the failing stock price.
However, those who do read the board and post seem to be in disbelief at this point. Continued efforts to get information from the appropriate spokespeople have resulted in zero contact.

Retro Infinity Storefront

I suppose this is the same Retro Infinity Inc. mentioned in prior posts.
