@tlosm: again, flaming? YOU opened a new thread where to talk about benchmarks, and I simply let you recall it.

If you don't like your thread, why you opened it?

Quake Sdl Aros on Vpc

320x240 = 117.3 fps
640x480= 53.8 fps
800x600= 37.2 fps
1024x768= (quake auto exit?)

I can play fast and smoot without frame skipping FPSE games at 800x600
With mame because resizing of game video to fit screen is need to auto frameskip the games ... i dont have the preference for change it to native size of the game and made more tests

edit: i made mame work with native rom size and running really good :) I had been test some roms who was gave me not good performance on my Pegasos2 1266 and last mame (bonze adventure) and are running great :)

@pavlor
this is doom time demo
2134 gametics in 215 realtics 347 fps

Because probably you can understand english better than me , you just read the first line of my post and i quoted it here ... there is not only benchmak read better.

STOP FLAMING! in all the message in this thread you did only this ... flaming

@tlosm: so, do you plan to do NOT use your thread for reporting the benchmarks, right? So close it and continue on this one.

@tlosm: since you don't understand, as you also stated, I give you a quick recap.

I suggested to open a different thread for talking about the benchmarks, leaving this one for the experience about emulation. Seiya agreed, YOU agreed, and YOU also opened a proper thread for the benchmarks.

All fine, right?

But recently you started again reporting benchmarks here. So I asked why are, again, doing it.

How do you see a flame for this? Can't you "just", "simply", continue with what YOU also agreed, reporting the benchmarks in the other (YOUR) thread?

If you have changed your mind, then YOUR new thread doesn't make sense anymore, and can close. Right?

I don't think that I can explain it in a simpler manner...

Why you continue write something totally OT in all message ?
This thread name is "EMULATION a PASSION" from the beginning we dont see one post from your who speak about emulation you continue flaming and write posts OT continue attacking , and spoil message with your no sense coclusions... Please or write something related EMULATION or dont write here nothing any more or i will report you to the mods.

@cdimauro

The benchmarking figures shown in this thread within the confines of emulation would not be considered off topic (since they are related to emulation).

Specifically pointing to another thread (which was created about the power pc architecture and did itself contain benchmarks in that respect) doesn't necessarily mean any benchmark should then be directed to that thread.

So long as the posts in this thread relate to emulation there isn't an issue with them being made.

Please let this be the end of this.

AROS is hungry of cpu power for some serious software, but for general use, your emulated config is very good.

the same is for Mame wow incredible .
If vpc was using video acceleration and more ram :(

@noXLar

Pc Task? on OS4 work :) but you have to fight because he try to open the Df0 and we know dont exist in the new amigas and this make the program crash... you have to assign it to PC0 or a virtual floppy device and it will start... dont forget to assign the video to rtg mode because the NG dont have aga or ecs ;)
The overall experience on pegasos2 was like on 060@50 mhz ... for sure bochs and dosbox are more faster than it on OS4
