Funny you should mention that. I was just checking the site for show schedule, which is usually posted a few times with updates/changes in the weeks before AmiWest.
So far I don't see anything.

But for now you can still refer to the basic broadcast page:

@Fairdinkem

I believe this happens on Saturday Sacramento time, when the AmiWest 2014 show officially kicks off. I believe you can follow along on the live stream to be provided, but not expected to be up and running until tomorrow. There is a lot of setup activity happening this evening to get everything ready, and more tomorrow morning no doubt, including myself!

@all

I have now posted blog entries covering the photos and happenings across the Programming Seminar Days 1 and 2 (Thursday and Friday) on my blog.

Update: I also added the Classic Clinic and X5000 first fire up done on Friday evening.

This is my first time to travel to AmiWest this year, and it is so exciting to have so many Amiga's covering all flavours here this year to look at up close, including the new X5000.

In addition to exhibiting this year, I am also doing a presentation on Saturday about running AmigaOS4.1 Classic on WinUAE Beta 20 - running using Windows 7 Pro on my MacBook Pro (late 2013) laptop.

Links and photos are here:

Update: added new blog post covering friday night

@thread

lets hope this time we see some stylish Amigas rather than big box monstrosities of yesteryear showing something substantial than Workbench and some demos/avis.

Real progress would be seeing: new cheap hardware under 500 USD.

Software development suits for apps and games with easy cross compile for iphone/android

Office suite

Increase in Hyperion staff and what they working on that not been announced already.

New features of AmigaOS that blows away the competition.

Intensives for developers to make money on Amiga platform.

A-EON posted photos of an X5000 running the Composite3DDemo at AmiWest a few hours ago. So, that's a definite yes.

I'm hoping Timberwolf is a surprise reveal this year but I am not holding my breath.

@Epsilon

The early start menu is a nice addition. I remeber getting dissed by a closed minded individual on the original AmigaOne mailing list for suggesting that it would be a nice touch.
Having the BIOS on the MicroSD gives a lot of freedom in terms of space so you can do a lot more things.

I'm guessing the classic option is to boot straight into UAE with the emulation essentially hidden from the user like with Amithlon or the Amiga Forever live boot.

Looking forward to seeing more.
