Hi. Mixer 1,4 Gives the Guru Meditation. Went back to 1,36. Popping still.
Icon Info is:
DONOTWAIT (CX_PRIORITY=0) (CX_POPUP=NO) (CX_POPKEY=alt f10) (SKIN=) (NO_VIA)
Take the ( ) away from CX_POPUP=NO? Re-Booted too many times;)
Now got to decide what would be the best OS in a x86 to recover my work. Any knowledge in the GoogleOS again? Maybe Win7 knows the old Vista stuff and get the printer to work..

What system and soundcard do you have? Soundcard driver version? Can you send the crashlog/GR?
Ok, try to remove round-brackets '(' ')' from tooltypes to ENABLE them If a tootltype is enclosed in round-brackets it is DISABLED
V1.36?!?! and what happens with V1.37 1.38 1.39? All available on openamiga http://openamiga.org/?function=viewfiles&projectid=62
BTW this is OT of this thread/topic, so maybe you can open a new thread/topic or use my email to continue. Last edited by jabirulo on 22-Sep-2014 at 12:43 PM. Last edited by jabirulo on 22-Sep-2014 at 12:42 PM. Last edited by jabirulo on 22-Sep-2014 at 08:56 AM.

Remove the brackets to make the tool type active. _________________ This weeks pet peeve: Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). That's the one, yes. You'll probably find it has four network ports on the back - plug the printer in to one of those.
However if it needs a host-based driver then that's not going to help. What I do with my printer is connect it to a Raspberry Pi, install CUPS, and then print via that across the network. As long as there's a Linux driver for the printer, you can chuck PostScript or PCL data at CUPS and it'll translate it. I use the PostScript driver along with my ipp.device.

Yes got that router but too long cables. One comes to the A1, another to the A1200, one to the pc, one goes to another router for the rental apartments. Just too complicated..
I forwarded my two pc:s to the local repair place and getting i5-4-core8GigDDR3 Win7 TurboPorsche Injection and they put all my stuff to the new terabyte HD. Maybe also the Nvidia that cost one pc some time ago. No problem with the printer then.
Installed the Mixer the tenth time, different versions and now it's waiting.. Can't wait no more.
I close my case. Last edited by PR on 22-Sep-2014 at 05:19 PM.

Seems you have a problem understanding how those tooltypes work, friend. _________________ This weeks pet peeve: Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). In theory you can share the printer out under Windows using LPD, and connect to it on the Amiga side with lpr.device. However I suspect you might still need a proper driver; the details on setting up LPD under Windows are sketchy at best. You might get away with sending Postscript as that's what Linux normally uses.

About MIXER:
What system and soundcard do you have? Soundcard driver version? Can you send/post the crashlog/GR?

SB Live! Info is not available Sorry or can't get it.
And all. It seems there is no problem understanding the tooltypes;)
English is not my native language so there is maybe a problem.. I removed the ( ). Installed a few times different versions. Wait some more? Let's try another version more.

Here is my email jabierdlrATgmailDOTcom Write to me so I can send you a "special" debug version so we can see where it hangs. You said V1.36 is working fine? So you could try (if not already done) first V1.37 and so on to see what was/is the last version that works on your system. Thx for helping tracking that problem on MIXER.
Just a guess: may I suspect you have an A1-XE without onboard sound?
On what machine/system? A1-XE, SAM, X1000 .... For "more info on your soundcard you can try RANGER (os4depot) RANGER: go to Exec->Libraries (click on Refresh button) and search for emu1kx.audio and click/select i,t you will see on the right side some info. emu1kx.audio did not exist in ranger as described. My e-mail is prATtelemailDOTfi
XE-G4 , SB was installed ready, no idea about the onboard without seeing.
Mixer used to work, and still does but when updated it came visible. I could get the newest again and see the Gurus Crashlog if it helps. Then to work.
