liking the video, looks like it going to be more than a simple app store but more like Stream platform but Amiga based, very cool.

Special mention and credit should go to Kevin Saunders for putting our ideas together in the video, he did a wonderful job.

Its going to be intresting to see the effects of the AmiStore.

How many users will there be and what new or updated software will be available.
Will there be enough users available to encourage developers that used to code for the platform to port or upgrade their "old" software etc.

Looking at the AOS4 vs WinUAE poll, so far 234 people have voted. Not a massive amount per see, but its been relativly short period of time.
People selling a game or whatever for 10-20 euros and selling 100-200 copies adds a decent penny from a platform that havent really given a whole lot to developers for a long time.
Looking at Cherry Darling and others, they are porting their games across several platforms (android/ios), so im kinda wondering how much effort they have to make for them to tap into the market on Amiga. 2000-3000 isnt a whole lot split between a several people if it takes months for example, but atleast it adds up ontop of what you get from other platforms.

Anyhow, just something I do wonder about as AmiStore approaches.

We are hoping that AMIStore will encourage more development. No one thinks they can become rich coding on the Amiga, but it is nice for developers to get some financial recognition for their efforts.

Of course, more developers means more software which in turn attracts more users back to Amiga.

Do you accept little tools programs ?

I mean program that are far away from the professional DVPlayer or Personal Paint but are a little bit used by some Amigans.

@amigakit

Yes, for example a pack of all my programs.

http://eu.os4depot.net/?function=modules/sql/filesbyuploader&submitter=Guillaume%20Boesel%20(zzd10h)

As you can see, some are a little bit downloaded (i don't know if they are used, but at least downloaded ;) )
