@Everblue

I'm a afraid it is not a change. :( Old games are made asm and sources are most likely lost or just not availlable.

@Chris Y

NIce :) so tool chain works again?

@Britelite

You are right, most general purpose new sites would be painfull to use, but amiga sites are OK. But there would be losts of use working web browser, it would be nice to download files directly to Amiga, have a possibility to use web if it is needed.

@utri007

I don't know, I've been at work, and was out this evening. I intend to try it tomorrow.

@All

A revival of Deluxe Paint for OS3 / OS4 would be so cool, it would add so much value, for being a real killer application back then and for historical reasons too.

Pagestream is probably now getting close to its first MorphOS native release (with MUI5 gui etc). Here it's being demonstrated running on MorphOS on an AmigaOne X5000:

This argument is what I would like to see on a press release.

PageStream
...

That would be my favorite definitely!!
But I doubt that. Pagestream is dead. No news or updates now for more than 3 years (Windows/Mac). The last Amiga beta version is more than 9(!) years old - 2006...
Well, I'd love to see newer versions. But this seems very unlikely. Not even mails are answered any more by Deron. Seems he finally gave up after not being able to stabilize the Amiga versions or implementing the MUI interfaces then.

Regards....
Michael

Obviously to have updated for 2015 use =)

My picks:

PageStream
Papyrus
Wordworth/Final Writer
Deluxe Paint

What are yours?

My picks are:
- Maxon Cinema 4D
- Maxon CAD
- DynaCadd3 from CRP Koruk
- CNCTool (CNCTool is a tool to convert 3d-data from e.g. DynaCadd's 3d part drawings into executable CNC files (for lathing, milling, drilling))
- Math-Amation (incl. all modules) by Progressive Peripherals was an advanced math program and function plotter with modules for mechanical engineering, physics, electric engineering, mercantile calculations
- Something like "NewIO" PCB layout Software (can be downloaded from the Amiga Future Webpage according to AndreasM)
- A&O v3.1, AmiGAL v1.0, AmiBURN v1.0, L100, ProNET / ProBOARD 2.0a and PLP V.2 by Maxon were all programs for the Amiga to design electronics. Described here (http://www.designpreference.com/Vault/Layout-1.pdf) in an "Amiga Spezial" training course of 1993 (page 3 onwards) - sorry - German only.

EDIT:
I'd like to add Elastic/Fantastic dreams to the list, as well as Wildfire7PPC.

Regarding office apps I'd like to suggest the complete FinalOffice 97 Suite (FinalWriter, FinalCalc, FinalData), as well as PageStream.

B.t.w. - Is there currently Software a vailable to operate Scanners on the Amiga?
On my old A4kPPC/Os3.9 I can use FxScan/ScanQuix - but what if you are new to the Amiga and want to use a scanner with it?

Turboprint still stands out for some reason. may just be a combination of Spooler and drivers, Not sure ,but someone had a handle on it and may hold some clues as to integrate another program.

BTW. Turboprint has been integrated to MorphOS as native PPC version since.. hmm.. as long as I can remember :)

Recently I stumbled across the TurboPrint for Linux page and noticed the list of supported printers had been updated the last time in March, 2015.
So my guess was that the printer drivers available for Linux must be quite up-to-date and support quite modern printers.
Then I was asking myself if it might be possible to use the Linux TP-printer-drivers with the latest Amiga Version?

Does anyone have info on this?

Why waste effort on Deluxe Paint which could be spent on Personal Paint? PPaint blows DPaint away IMHO. I just have one feature request to make it a little more like DPaint:

Settings > Screen > Toolbar position > Left [Right]

This request isn't for nostalgic reasons. When you're creating on a sprite-sheet, you naturally work from the top-left corner and it's complete pain with the toolbar on that side - you either have to hide it or scroll the screen. I guess this was done to differentiate it from Deluxe Paint but that hardly matters anymore.

I'll probably buy the new version at some point anyway, but it would be an insta-buy if that was in!
