Just received the following reply from their on-line shop:
Hi,
Unfortunately we are not getting any more in for the foreseeable future. Please head to www.greatdigitalmags.com for a digital edition or visit WH Smiths for a hard copy.
---
Quite surprised as I didn't think it had been out that long!

What a joke! I'll definitely just stick with the Amiga Visual Commpendium me thinks. I can't be doing with this half hearted book mag launch! Shame though._________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

| I got confirmation from Imagine that shipping of the book was underway, should arrive at my folks address in the UK in a few days.
Sadly I probably won't be able to read it until April.

Wow - you were very lucky Rudei!
Kind of crazy that they have published the book - sold out - and now won't publish any more though. _________________ Sam |

glad I got my order in, however it still just says processing.... hope there not an issue! give them till 12th and I might send a little email, same with Amigakit, still waiting on OS4.1FE X1000.
still this once again demonstrates popularity of the Amiga, as look at how few other books / mags have gone out of stock on there site, I would guess they might get them in again, as usually unsold copy of mags go back to the publisher usually, but from the looks of things this might of been a limited release judging by the fact that I've not seen it in two Wh Smith or any Supermarkets. If I do ever see it I think I will still pick up a copy, that way maybe someone on here who has missed out can get to have it or sell on ebay as it might be quite rare. _________________ AmigaNG, YouTube, LeaveReality Studio |

You only have to look at the Commodore Amiga FaceBook page to see how popular the Amiga still is (the classics anyhow).

Picked my copy up from local WHSmiths this afternoon, Jan 8th. A quick look through suggests its a collection of previous Retro Gamer articles, with 12 extra pages.
Still, if you dont want to buy all teh back copies, pull them apart etc, its cheaper and tidier. _________________ The older and more respected a scientist is, the longer it takes to prove him wrong. |

Thanks! They have 7 left now
Bizarrely it is being sold by the same company (RetroGamer's publisher) that now lists them as out of stock! Last edited by -Sam- on 08-Jan-2015 at 11:38 PM.

Ah.. my adresse is not good enough for amazon, looks like i can't order to Norway. I really want this book.
If i may ask, is someone willing to help me order one of those books for me and resend it to me in norway? It would be greatly appreciated if someone would. I would pay in advance for book and postage fee and some ekstra for the trouble.
Just pm me here at AW. _________________ nox's in the house! |

Snagged myself a copy! I think it might have been the last copy in the WHSmith by where I lived.
Must just not have received them when I checked last week.
It is not as thick as it appears in the picture amigang posted, but is still a good 170 odd pages.
Looks like it will be a nice read.
Cant wait also till I receive my copy of the compendium from Kickstarter as well.
