I seem to recall (atleast I think I do...) that there was a version of Image FX released wich had somesort of PPC functinality build in. I believe one of them was animation support.

Anyone know what I talking about here ?

I know there are PPC loaders and stuff. So that is not what I meant.

Thanks

Martin

@netrot

NO ? Bummer.....

There was something with animtion studio or something that only existed for WarpOS or something ?

Ring any bells ?

Anyway, Powerstation ? Would that work on OS4 ?

edit: found something

http://www.haage-partner.de/amiga/products/imagefx_e.htm

Now in it's fourth major upgrade, ImageFX goes animated! If you work on video using your Amiga or want to work on animations for the Internet, the new animation controls in ImageFX are exactly what you've been wishing for on your Amiga. The animation system is as easy to use as the animation controls in Amiga paint packages but far more powerful and support full color animation, palette mapped animation and greyscale animations as well.

No there is no AmigaOS4 PPC support (except my jpeg loading replacment).

There is animation support in ImageFX as standard though.

There is a still live yahoogroups forum for ImageFX users.

ImageFX at yahoogroups

Anyway, ImageFX 4.5 is quite good with animations. Look at the Layer Manager.
A reprint of the really big user guide can be obtained from lulu.com

ImageFX is a very good image manipulation software. There is some uses where it is still very productive.

@Metalheart
Kermit's last post in the ImageFX ML was in June 2014. I asked in the ML where ImageFX 4.5 can be bought now, but got no response. It appears that novadesign is gone, so I can only conclude that Kermit is no longer interrested in selling ImageFX anymore.

Btw, is there any gfx program for OS4 that can do image manipulation like ImageFX does, or can expanded to do so ?
Maybe that would be a better move....

@broadblues

I dl'ed 2.6 from OS4depot and will take a look again at the video from Amiwest of you demonstrating it.

But as I understood it is mainly a painting program not an imageprocessing program, right ?

Thanks anyway, Ill check it out.

Image FX 4.5 works fine in OS4.1. I used to make some of my WB Themes.

And yes, have some PPC loaders.
