here were some trouble makers but ANN.lu remained moderated site. It was the best moderated Amiga site at that time. |
Nice joke.
Yes there were few people who tried to moderate it. The problem was that CK lost interest in ANN.lu, and lack of a log in system, made it almost impossible to moderate people on the site.
The thing about ann.lu was that every one where treated equal, Amiga.org where more or less owned by BBRV, Amigaworld.net was an AmigaOS4.x / NG site, and Amiga Inc's web page was a ghost town.Last edited by NutsAboutAmiga on 05-Apr-2015 at 11:29 PM. | seems very strange that the site admin basically abandons the site for 15 years before attempting to 'moderate' it heck even if the dude wasn't paying a cent to run the site/ hosting etc. you would think he would at the very least check in once every year to see what was going on !..just for curiosity sake

| OMG , ITIX, WTF? GTA, GodDammnit. We are getting Adults & Serious Baby!
(PR Never but still;) I just laugh at all these sorry. My past of the pastest time. Never been at Moonbunny, in ann.lu read in the times.
What's the problem?
There is a butterfly page, an aros place (go there) and then there is an Amiga Site like this and a dozen of others. Please keep Your "Religion" in Your own sites. All intelligent porting vice versa is allways welcome and be friends but this trolling makes it funny and takes time like putting clothes for a little Angry Bird Child.
C'mon You Can do Better.
Even if Jesus comes at easter, Do We Care (Offcourse in our religion but not in Yours?)
Just very badly trying to say that there are different points of views. For me the only and original.

Only Amiga Made It Possible again over some work. How Cool Was that! (10 The passed Vidgals games are now on a new Petros HDA1200 in memoriam) Nothing to do with the other linux pirate copy os or whatever pc above mentioned.
Another one goes to the top of the pops. In what machine was it made? Hmmm not Miga.

I am quite surprised to see him so upset. Moo has been a dumping ground for years. A weird back water that seemed to attract people with real social problems. I do seem to remember that Moo was once a genuine site and interestingly it did seem to be getting better - I guess the moderation that had started was why this was so.
Moo had been allowed to degenerate in to the utter mess that it was and left there for way too long. Its entire population consisted of trolls. Moderating and rebuilding it from here was always going to be next to impossible.
Where will all the sociopaths go now?
Although I always had the sneaking suspicion that the entire population consisted of less than 5 users posting under different names.
Oh yes - and thanks for all the fantastic art on the site Moo - talented stuff Last edited by -Sam- on 05-Apr-2015 at 11:32 AM. Last edited by -Sam- on 05-Apr-2015 at 12:37 AM. Last edited by -Sam- on 05-Apr-2015 at 12:34 AM.

| Well that settles one question at least.
We now have proof that Trevor is not out to buy up every Amiga related website.

I'm only sorry for you, I know you liked to post there & I respect you for being the defender of the Amiga amongst the haters, thank you for that. |
I think it would be best described as a guilty pleasure. Sometimes posting there felt like poking a caged bear with a stick at some sort of cruel victorian sideshow. |

| Well amazed it lasted this long, only checked in once every now again, it was one weird place, but sometime it did go behind the scenes of some dramas that would happen in the Amiga world, and I did learn more about some stories and what goes on behind the scene in some areas of the Amiga but for the very little bit of incite it gave me it also showed me just how bad trolling can get on the internet, long before the media kinda of made it a thing and I do feel kind of sorry for both the people who got trolled and for the troll as some of them clearly have issues that go beyond the Amiga. so RIP Moobunny you where one of the weird places I found the net. _________________ AmigaNG, YouTube, LeaveReality Studio |

I never understoood what cows, rabbits and swearing had in common with the Amiga anyway. Not to mention purposely offending anyone and insulting Amuga companies.
Perhpas that wasn't what MooBunny was about or was not the intention but that is all I saw when I visted. Usually because someone mentioned it and make a link. So to me no great loss. It just demonstrated when you give people freedom of speech thay will abuse it.
Perhaps more is the loss to John Shepard against the people who ruined it. |
