Done!

WOW...Great support from you guys.

There are still 8 days to go so I'll try and keep spreading the word to be on the safe side of the £6000.

If I have time I'll show you one more Special Edition that I'm finishing off.

Many thanks to everyone for embracing this project with energy and enthusiasm!

Now the fun begins...lots of work to do...

MINI STRETCH GOAL

Let's reach £6400 and each Reward will include a metal and plastic key cap puller so you can safely remove your key caps.

The key caps puller mini stretch goal has been reached.

It's something I wanted to do so people will be able to safely use what I think is the best key caps puller.

Many thanks.

@TheDaddy

The blue and orange limited edition looks great. Those white mechanical keyboard cases seem to be hard to come by.

Also like the black/gray layout, reminds me of the CD32 somehow.

@TheDaddy

Any advice for backers on buying a keyboard with Cherry MX switches?

Ideally I'd like a black one without branding. I want to use it with USB and PS/2 (via a PS/2 adapter) so I can use it on the MiST or FPGA Arcade. I know most USB keyboards have the PS/2 protocol, but annoyingly not all and it's not the kind of information they usually include in the description.

The new Games Machine edition looks great by the way - I was almost tempted to up my pledge!

Thanks,
Chris

@clebin

I'd go Ducky if you can, simple, no writing anywhere (almost no writing), understated, offer of Cherry MX Blue, Brown, Black or Red.
I'm not a huge fan of keyboards with multiple media keys etc...but that is just me...

Regarding the "The Games Machine Edition"...it's taken me just over two weeks but I managed to squeeze some of the most iconic games characters created for the Amiga. More of a design exercise, I had to rework some of the sprites but the end result is decent enough.

A celebration of the machine's power and programmers' skills.
Please no comments such as: "why is X, Y, Z game not there"...I chose the ones who were better suited...I made difficult choices...and some didn't fit on a 1.5cmx1.5cm key!

Some shots:

@TheDaddy

Congrats on reaching the goal! Is there any chance of me getting a White and Brown version. Currently backed White and Beige uk, which still is ok too me, but I think I would like a brown version. if possible.

@clebin

I can suggest a Rosewill RK9000V2. They are available with red, blue. brown etc. keyswitches, I use the brown ones.
Make sure you get the V2 version, as the first version had a very delicate usb cable jack.

These come with separate cords for USB and PS2, the cords are covered with a woven braid.

There are no "extra" keys, just the standard layout, _all_ the keys are cherry brand, some keyboards use membrane keys in some places.

Besides the low price, these are built with a heavy steel plate that all the keys are mounted through. This makes the keyboard feel very solid with no "flexing" if you type a bit heavy. This steel plate is painted red, which has a nice look as well.

Hi everyone and thank you very much for being part of this project and supporting it with such energy and dedication, you've all been great.

Please be patient, there are quite a few things to sort out starting with Kickstarter moving the funds across once all the fees, VAT etc...have been deducted then I'll kick into action with whatever is left of the money.

If you don't hear from me for the next 4-5 days please don't panic...it doesn't mean I've retired to the Bahamas...it's just that I need to organise myself first...lots and lots to do.

Thank you again for the incredible support!

@padrino

Thanks...

Of course, good choice for the arrow keys.
Page Up and Page Down using the Speedball 2 characters (pointing the right way)...

@TheDaddy

Hi,
Now that the funds are sent, what is the next step ?

You will send a mail to each backer to know the wished keyboard layout, etc ?
