My bet is that they read these threads but don't answer them. Regardless what one might think about Hyperion, I doubt that there is any way that they would come out of such a thread a winner. I would stay away too.

I agree. I think the competition has speeded up development considerably since everyone want to beat everyone else. Which is a good thing. If there where only one camp (and no open source alternative) I bet they would have stopped development years ago because of lack of prospects.

The real problem is that some people can't compare the systems like adults. So most threads are reduced to five year olds shouting to each other that their dads are stronger than the others.

PS I kind of regret the Be Inc failed with BeOS it was to me a spirirual Amiga succesor.

I think not communicating (Hyperion) is the worst.

Of course they should talk in a professional way, which was not the case in the past.

But a company who cares for their customers should answer in this forum, regardless of how the comments have been written.

And I hope that A-EON will answer too. They are interested to get AmigaOS on their machines and to sell them.

Not talking here is bad. People here have questions who wants to be answered.

A Hyperion Official what?

What kind of decisions can he take? Financial one? Management wise? Processes?

To speed up a develpement process you need to change things - you know that probably much better than I do. if Hyperion doesn't change, we will not see X5000 ready this year.

All I'm asking is a statement from someone who can change things at Hyperion to speed up development or saying why it is still that slow.

He's one of the three directors of Hyperion (Tim and Ben are the other two).
So his word should be as good as theirs. And he answered the initial questions.
