Although im glad cyborg posted something and it is an update. Nobody is answering the main problem here: WHY IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU WASTED ALL THIS TIME AND RESOURCES ON WRITING DRIVERS FOR ALIEN HARDWARE WHEN YOU COULD HAVE BEEN PORTING AND / OR MAKING NEW SOFTWARE?

What good is super power hardware with NO SOFTWARE?

This model has been a failure and will continue to be, why does the community stand for it? Not only that but cheer it on? We will end up with a dead platform in a couple of years.

Especially now that with Amiga Forever and a powerful pc you can run os4 very well. There is no need for exotic unreliable super duper hardware.

Interesting question. I don't know why the MorphOS-Team still insists on including every release a new PPC hardware platform - from iMacs and Powerbooks over G5's and X5k's and Sam's and so on - instead of developing SOFTWARE!

? Do you really mean that the future of AmigaOS 4.1 is to emulate 20 year old hardware !

But... we are developing software MorphOS 3.8 added SynergyClient and Minesweeper game with usual OS fixes and improvements, Jalapeno supports >2 TiB volumes, Odyssey and RemoteShell was updated to OpenSSL 1.0.1m, Scribble received printing support, Curves plugin to Sketch, SmbFS...

I was OS4 evangelist 2010-2015 and furthermore did quite a lot of programming for it and it feels like I gave much to it for (almost) nothing.

I nowadays am more and more into Commodore Amiga instead and feel really good perhaps I found my way in the demo scene.

Occasionally I will keep an eye on it but not like before.

Comparing the morphos team to os4 team is a joke. So if you are trying to be funny the joke is on you. Once they did the initial ppc port on mac the rest of the support was easy. SAME PROCESSOR and drivers for networking, etc. Not like alien custom stupid hardware. which leads to you can get a killer ppc mac that runs morphos super fast for like $75 what machine can you get to run os4 for that? lmao

Well i run os4 on my pegasos 2 so im both a supporter and customer. Which is why i care and waste time posting here. I see the people im trying to reach (the fanboys) are so blind they will follow the stupid choices of the os4 gatekeepers right into the abyss.
