I totally agree with you there. I mean I still use an old NetGear DG834G router. And the interface works fine in IBrowse. Except the router is a bit slow to send pages down the line. It does the same thing as these other interfaces which aren't flashy at all. I mean, why does a miniature router need CSS anyway? That complicates it. For a small device you'd think they would simplfy it as much as possible. Surely there is software than can generate a simple HTML GUI?

Yes it worked with Timberwolf on my A1. And TenFourFox on my Mac. So you might say Firefox based browser.
I first tried it with Safari (PPC) and it didn't work. It would try to connect to a network and always reboot and come back with an error. Apparently an error in the code caused the SSID to be nullified everytime. So even though it showed the correct one in the browser page internally it was blank. So always failed.
I didn't test it with any other browsers. Except Internet and Chrome on my phone which also failed IIRC. But that is an LB-LINK obvious TP-LINK rip off so perhaps that explains the bugs.

@Hypex I've been using NetGear WNCE2001 and WNCE3001 for WiFi with SAM440 & X1000 for years. Both have fairly simple HTML interfaces and are accessible with Amiga browsers. The 3001 is dual band but I prefer the LED indicators on the 2001. It looks like the 2001 may be out of production and is hard to find now.
Both have builtin DHCP servers and I have Roadshow set up to for DHCP so connection is easy. I use a Netgear router which is also accessible with Amiga browsers. I don't know how well my WiFi adapters work with other router brands.
