Checking for installed Python... got it!

@JosDuchIt

What graphics card do you have and do you have a warp3d driver installed for it?

Should it be a card where no Warp3D driver exists then waZp3D is a possibily but it will be slow.

@broadblues

Hi,

I'm having the very same issue as JosDuchIt.

I have the latest Radeon HD 2.18 driver (Maybe I should install the one from the Enhancementent Plus Package, but I suppose it's the same as the driver which is sold alone).
The graphics card is a supported Southern Island Radeon R9 270X.

blender (dist_20160912) starts up with wazp3D but I would really like to use the graphics card...

warp3d.library 53.22
wazp3d.library 53.1
warp3dNova.library 1.29
warp3dPPC.library 4.3

Powerpc.library 16.41

RadeonHD.chip 2.18

AmigaOS 4.1 FE on AmigaOne X1000

edit: just to clarify, when using WaZp3D, I renamed "warp3d.library" to "Warp3D.library.off" and "Wazp3D.library" to "Warp3D.libary"

@Amigo1

You have quoted every library version except the one you need:

14.NGFSBoot:> version libs:Warp3D/HWdrivers/W3D_SI.library full
W3D_SI.library 1.14 (14/04/2015)

Have you purchased the southern island W3D driver?

This is not the same as Nova BTW Nova is not used by minigl (which is what blender uses).

Well, that was the issue indeed..

I just visited AmiStore and the shell output went from

6.AmigaOS:> version libs:Warp3D/HWdrivers/W3D_SI.library full
VERSION: object not found

to

6.AmigaOS:> version libs:Warp3D/HWdrivers/W3D_SI.library full
W3D_SI.library 1.14 (14-Apr-2015)

Blender starts in a fraction of a second.

Thank You a lot for the hint!!

@broadblues

Yet another revision of the Audio (HD) code, there were some small glitches in the resulting audio streams which I fibnally tracked down and fixed.
