You seem to have missed my point. I'm mentioning 68K not because the situation is better with regard to OS4 (we all know that the developer situation is about the same in both camps) but simply because Petah demands the reprint of the original RKRM, which is mainly for 68K systems. (The OS4 crowd has the Dev Wiki, which by now is much more relevant and up-to-date.)

Ok then I understood it wrong

I think reprinting is unrealistic and developers today do not buy and read books anymore. Better would be to have up-to-date informations online (as a wiki or similar)

Exactly. And those who need a printed manual can always convert the wiki into PDF and use one of the many print-on-demand services.
