I'd love to hear your reasoning as to why the Raspberry Pi will somehow be "good for the Amiga community in the long run"...
You got some secret info that the next version of the Raspberry will be a fully functional 68K based Amiga shrunk down to a tiny single little board or the makers are going to buy up all the Amiga IP and reopen a factory in the Philippines and start churning out new Raspberry flavoured miggies or something... _________________

I know I am... but if you keep making such pie in the sky comments then you will never achieve that status of genius like me and be forever doomed to posting fairy stories about dead things... _________________

Nice video, but I would suggest in the future to cut it down to 5 or 7 minutes long.

Regardless, most folks will not sit and watch it for more then five or so minutes without wandering off to something else. The only way to hold their attention span any longer is to make it visually interesting content wise.

Most folk !!!
I know your American Dammy and that if something like a TV programme goes on for too long like 2 minutes or straight after the opening credits before cutting to the ads, then you attention span (or rather lack of it) tends to wander off into the realms of Lalaland but please don't lump "Most folk" into your strange "Americanised" view of people...
Believe it or not Dammy some folk outside your neck of the woods can actually watch an entire movie without losing their attention span and wandering off to elsewhere... shocking I know... but true... _________________

...Look who's talking! Now you're doing what you asked him not to do. I've watched plenty of BBC programs when I was stationed in England years ago. Now THAT takes some patience to watch.
Happy 4th of July all.

Erm... I know your American too so the language & cultural barrier has caused some confusion here, I'm doing what exactly !!! and this what that I'm allegedly doing it appears you think I'm asking Dammy not to do...
Hang on, I need a quick ad break to work this one out...
ADVERT... Sponsored By ... Gawd American Culture Is Naff.com

Of course I'm an American - what clued you off? The Happy 4th of July? The fact that I said I was stationed in England? methinks. . . oh you mean I think, as in the proper use of English. I know the Brits tried to teach you Scots the proper way to speak and failed, because even THEY can't understand what you say.
I think you just hate anything and anyone American. Enjoy your daily sheep shag, Highlander.

It's true though.. being American, I have the attention span of a gnat. I fast forward most online videos to the "good" parts. I think it's because we have become so used to super quick cut style editing in our media. Remember when Raiders of the Lost Arc was super action packed and now it's kinda slow because movies are edited so differently.
I also think our crazy over stimulated entertainment is the best in the world... which is probably why we are all "couch potatoes" now. In my neighborhood, I hardly ever see kids outside playing.. and why would they? They have Xbox, PS3, Netflix, Digital Satellite TV, Super computers on their phones... how can anything compete with that?

I don't know if you ever noticed, but most surviving amigans don't care about 68k anymore. |
