Just get an decent brand off the shelf pc psu.. Thermaltake, Coolermaster, etc etc you dont need super high wattage either 250 is more than plenty but new ones they dont make them that small.

I have a standard 550W PSU that has been fine for years since I installed it.

I can't remember the brand... it's either a Corsair or Coolermaster. 450 watt, not because I need that much, but because that's what is considered average/small these days and is easy to find and buy.

This one has been in there for three years or so now, at least.

I have a 400W Corsair power supply in mine and it's running like a dream for years. Very quiet too! Well worth the extra couple of Euro over a generic PSU.

One thing to look out for: Some PSUs do not have the option of the old 20-pin ATX connector which the A1-XE uses. My power supply came with the newer 24-pin one with the option to unclip the last 4 pins and use it like that. I don't know if the full 24 pin connector will fit...

I was having some stability issues with my A1-XE for a while. I tried different memory, battery etc. I finally bought a new PSU last month and the machines is now rock solid.

I purchased a Thermaltake TR2 430 W.

I bought it at a local retailer here in Canada with the following website.

http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1389575&CatId=1078

The model number is W0070RUC so you would be able to look it up elsewhere.

Yes, I know. There's a tin of air duster here.

@Rob

There's a big arm reaching into your AmigaOne. I hope he's friendly.

BTW if there is a can you can spray onto the PCB that frees up all the dust let me know. Simple vacuming doesn't work. And nothing will blow it out here.
