Just a FYI. 3.14-rc2 kernel & modules boots ok for Deb 7.3.0 . Though not tested at this time it should also work for Mint 11 as it also uses Deb 7.3.0 as a base. _________________ Tinkering with computers. |

| @xeno74 for 3.14-rc2 that was without "radeon.dpm=0"
I just finished building and booted 3.14-rc3 (also without radeon.dpm=0) and will be playing around with that for awhile. I'll try to get to 3.13 maybe later. _________________ Tinkering with computers. |

That's fantastic! Could you upload the RC 3, please?

That probably would not be useful as I build very much custom kernels. Only 1 soundcard, 4 serial ports, a parallel port, some other stuff... and only the firmware for the radeon I'm using...and I use more modules instead of built-in functions.
A real hack on what a distrabution kernel should be.
I did use your rc2 patch file and your rc2 config file as a start for the build. It worked very well, thanks.

As there seems to be strong development with Linux for PPC (here and at OpenPower)... could it be that some people plan hosted AOS4 variant ..... _________________ - KimmoK // For freedom, for honor, for AMIGA // // Thing that I should find more time for: CC64 - 64bit Community Computer? |

Linux has a lot of things AmigaOS does not, unless you want to have more then ONE computer connected to the internet, then this is good option to do what you need to do.
Cross compilers and development tools are also nice to have. Some programs are just almost impossible to compile whit out Linux, too mutch work to change the build system. _________________ http://lifeofliveforit.blogspot.no/ Facebook::LiveForIt Software for AmigaOS |

Could you compile a normal RC 3 kernel with the standard config, please? I'm very busy at time. _________________ www.amigalinux.org |

Probably get to it tomorrow.
I think the only upload site I have is box.com. Is that workable for you?
