I've downloaded http://aminet.net/package/comm/misc/twittAmiga.lha and tried to open it but it said "Error opening HTMLView". So then I looked back at the page and under BUGS it says that the native OS4 HTMLView doesn't work correctly and you can try it with the 68k version.

Now my question is: how can I use the 68k version of HTMLView on OS4? Or is there some other workaround (or whatever) to get the app running?

P.S. I know from the developer's Twitter that he's busy getting it fixed on OS4, but it would be great to have it running right now :)

@Vistaus

Just download and install it, like you would with the native version.

@Chris_Y

But how do I install either HTMLView mcc or the 68k version? I've unpacked it but I still get the same error from twittAmiga.

@Vistaus

Simply drag and drop htmlview.mcc, htmlview.mcp and htmlview directory to mui/libs/mui directory on a hard drive partition where you boot your computer from.

I tested it quickly. Htmlview 13.4 comes with native version for AmigaOS 4 but it crashed. Also twittAmiga crashed. I downloaded an old 68k version of the htmlview from aminet which complained being old beta version but it didn't crash at least. But the twittAmiga crashed still. You can ignore DSI errors to get it working anyway.

The best will be to ask the author of both twittAmiga and htmlview to fix these issues.

@Tomppeli

Thanks. I got it working now with 13.4. Only problem is that it's very slow because it keeps loading images. But maybe that's because it asks me to assing a drive for SSLROOT but I don't know which drive I should assign for that.

But like I said in the OP: the author of twittAmiga is working on getting it to work better on AmigaOS4.
