@duffsta

into the lha archive, is present a Preview.png

Better if you ask to some Morphos user, if the skin is still compatible with the latest release.

i'm with you on this one. i've always wanted to get my MOS installation to look like AOS4, but none of the public skins come even close. however ken lester, jr. put together a really amazing theme, but never released it to the public. just to whet your appetite, take a look at this. and this. amazing, right? people can say what they want about AOS4, but (at least IMO), it's gorgeous.

i'm not sure about the reasons, although, keep in mind those icons are based on mason's, so that might have had something to do with it. but that's pure speculation on my part. you could always PM him -- maybe he'd be interested in releasing at least part of it?

Ken Lester has the solution for both 4.0 and 4.1-theme
The later is not entirely public yet IIRC.

Please ask him to release it :)

I did not like MorphOS default looks.
At least after installing Chrysalis pack, I think I saw AO4 theme there somewhere. But I personally do not want it to look 100% like AmigaOS4.
I've changed the theme to little simpler than the default, but not exactly like aos.

Check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4NSxT_Zsk8

My MorphBook laptop screen looks much like this: http://meta-morphos.org/download/Images/AMI25.jpg

ahhh... didn't know you were using mac hardware, personally I don't like the default os4.x look, I changed it as soon as I could, I hate all that white and huge titlebars.

Do you have a screenshot of your desktop? I like the Icons on OS4 i find MorphOS ones to be very boring compared to the OS4 ones..

Just realized how similar OSX & OS4 look!!
What do most people here use outside of the 2 amiga OSes? Windows 7/8 or OSX?

Here's my prefs window, I use dopus 5 in text mode and hardly ever see an icon...

Ignore the WB42 it's not OS4.2 it's 4.1, the 2 is my beta partition, WB41 is my Public partition.

I have 2 amigas, AmigaOne X1000 and Sam440 flex and 5 macs, 2 68030 colourII's in the shed, never used, G4 macmini, not used for about 2 years, G5 powermac not used for a year or so, and a G5 imac that's used about once a month if I need to print something or transfer books to my kobo aura.

The X1000 is my main computer, the flex is rarely used now.

Nothing in my house capable of runing windows and there never will be.
