@vision

The pictures you get to see on that page looks really good.

... but I must admit that I never got stuck on the Shadow of the beast Games, despite being a deicated gamer.

While I did enjoy Shadow of the Beast back in the days, you wont see me buying Playstation 4 just to play that game.
I can see it being a decent game for console, and ive gotten some enjoyment out of PS3 and God of War. But ever since I got X360 controllers for my PC, my PS3 have done nothing but collect dust.

Hope they manage to capture the original feeling of the game, but thinking back in Wings for example; it might have been good back then, but playing that simplistic game today is a bit underwhelming.

I think this is more a general comment about old games being revived, some are based on pure gameplay like Montezumas Revenge, Bruce Lee, Jack the Nipper 2, Cauldron 2, etc
And some I remember very vividly; like Wings and Shadow of the Beast: amazing graphics for the time, leaving you starstruck. Tho when thinking about the gameplay objectivly you realise its kinda limited.

I do hope they make something amazing with the brandname tho!

EDIT: I guess my point is; if a game based on fancy graphics stays 100% true to its original gameplay, it would turn into a snoozefest. Horizontal scroller games of the old can be a real letdown or amazing.
Take LIMBO which is one of the more entertaining and simple games Ive played in modern times. I downloaded it early one day and couldnt let it go until I had completed it.

Just watched the longplay;
Shadow of the Beast 2 Longplay

Shadow of the Beast 3 Longplay

Shadow of the Beast 1 Longplay

SOB actually got SOME similarites to LIMBO,
