It is probably just another stupid x86 machine with a Linux variation.

HP are unlikely to use something that doesn't support multi-core and is as archaic, insecure and crash prone as AmigaOS.

Hardly "revolutionary" either.

Enjoy it as a hobby OS by all means, but it isn't ever going to be anything more, the alternatives are far far too advanced.

@Bondy

Multi-core is not a problem in this case. HP says that "The Machine is gonna be very energy-efficient". Sure, multi-core can be energy-efficient but so does single core so at least that argument doesn't rule out AmigaOS4.

@Vistaus

Only amigakit/eon would be daft enough to release a "revolutionary new" OS that used a fraction of the power of the hardware.

@Bondy

Relax, you don't have to take everything so seriously. The OP posted it as a light-hearted joke. Obviously they aren't talking about AmigaOS, nor are they talking about MorphOS or AROS.

And only you seem to be daft enough to make a public fool of yourself by not being able to understand a blatant joke.

I envision myself sitting on top of a pile of these computers enjoying a bottle of good Scotch whisky (a Glenlivet Nadurra would do perfectly well): whisky on the rocks without spoiling it with icecubes!
