I'm putting the finishing touches to some software at the moment. It's almost ready to go, but localisation is confusing me a little. I've have a number of volunteers translate my catalog into different languages and all work fine, however the Polish catalog was translated by someone who isn't an Amiga user. He encoded it in ISO-8859-2, but I notice that in OS4 locale there is also an ISO-8859-16 variant of the Polish locale settings. I also notice that these are incompatible (an 8859-2 file can't be read properly under 8859-16 and vice versa).
So, which one should I use for my catalog? I'm hoping to use the same catalog for OS3, OS4 and MOS... Thanks! _________________ RobTheNerd.com | InstallerGen | SMBMounter | Atoms-X |
