Quad G5, doubt it will ever happen. Doesn't really make sense IMHO, a completely new Apple PPC architecture (x64 is the way forward) and they came with nVidia cards (Apple) as standard.
X5000 is a given though, don't you think?
One of the interesting things in that context will be the list/status of fully supported GFX cards (Radeon HD). The previous MorphOS release already hinted about AMD Radeon HD 2400, 3450, 4350, 4550, 4650, 5450, 6450, 6570, 7570, since those were supported as "display only" back then without hardware acceleration (historically it's an unusual thing for the MorphOS team to support GFX cards partially, it has been either full support or no support, at least for the GFX cards not deemed "ancient"/"pointless" which will never get any more support anyways). |

| @TRIPOS It was already announced, that MorphOS will support the X5000, as soon as the hardware is properly released and on sale. The MorphOS Team demoed a working and usable X5000 port in Neuss in October 2015 already...
The PCIe G5s are still in the "no comments/won't happen" league, as far as I remember, although IIRC a proof-of-concept version (i.e. with missing features) has been shown on some smaller Amiga meetings already several times. And as others mentioned, if it still ever gets released, it will need a Radeon anyway. _________________ MorphOS, classic Amiga, demoscene, and stuff "When a bridge is not enough, build a Viaduct!" There is no release date. Probably it wil come this summer/autumn, but that is only a good guess. About new features, there are some hints and rumours, but nothing is officially confirmed._________________ My programs: via.bckrs.de MorphOS user since V0.4 (2001) |

Sam460 owners could be running any one of those cards with OS4 already so it made sense to include at least a basic driver for those cards and user can be confident that full support will come later. |
