I've complained about the lack of database managers for Amiga OS 4. I've decided to do something about it. I've decided to write a simple native dbase II, III, IV table viewer. I just need to figure out the file format. Any information would be appreciated. I found a file description online. One thing that complicates things is that PPC integers have the high and low bytes swapped (for some reason). That can be dealt with. I've done it before.

@thinkchip

Have you tried my SQLMan database manager?

SQLMan on Aminet

From the V0.4 changelog:
- add: DBase file import plugin

It may work for you or not, but bug reports, suggestions are warmly welcome!

For 68k there is a tool named Dedit in the SymBase archive which is almost the same as above for dbase data tables from the year 2005. Created in Amos, powered by an assembly coded database plugin. :)
