I'm playing to AskMeUp XXL and to send the scores online the game needs the YAM or Simple Mail installed, now I have both installed although the game uses to default YAM but how to set YAM?
I wrote in the minimal parameters to send/receive mail, but I have problem with the server name, here what must I write? To desperate I wrote 21 like the port.

What you need is the email details from your ISP. Do you use a mail client on Windows, Mac or Linux? Etc.

I take it you mean the outgoing server as you need to send at this point. YAM uses the POP protocol for incoming and SMTP protocol for outgoing. So you will need to find the details of the SMTP server.

There is also IMAP but that won't help as YAM doesn't support that to my knowledge.

By default the SMTP port will be at 25. Unless there is an extra security layer. Things like Yahoo or GMail tend to like extra security which is more research and set up in YAM.

Anyway say there is an email of: name@isp.com

This would usually have POP and SMTP settings of follows:
POP server: pop.isp.com
Port 110.

SMTP server: smtp.isp.com
Port 25.

Hope that helps. I know YAM can make it harder without wizard to figure it out.

@Templario i guess the following parameters to select in YAM (wih your email login/password)

POP (to receive emails)

Serveur : pop.mail.yahoo.com
Port : 995
SSL/TLS
Simple

SMTP (to send mails)

Serveur : smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Port : 465
SSL/TLS
Automatic

You could also use the SMTP of your ISP ;)

Or perhaps you use wifi or wimax connection ?

When I try to send a mail this failure message is showed:
Couldn't initialize TLSv1/SSLv3 session with host
'smtp.mail.yahoo.com'.

Check if you have in libs: amisslmaster.library and LIBS:AmiSSL drawer.

Maybe yahoo use a certificate that AmiSSL doesn't have, if this is the case nothing can be done AFAIK.

In this case I'm using the last version for MorphOS 2.9p1 becaused I bough the game for MorphOS, because, yes, my Sam440ep still is without Internet connection, for me was impossible fixed the problem and I have the Sam only to test my programs to avoid to have other death Sam board....

La version 2.9p1 es la que hay para MorphOS.
Y el estropicio, es para no contarlo porque se espantaría la gente, en el fondo creo que las placas me fallaron por comprar las placas con la caja incluída a Acube, porque tres placas tres se cascarón, sin embargo la que tengo en casa de mí hermano que monte yo, sigue funcionando excepto la conexión a internet que con la FE se fue al garete y sigo sin poder conectarme, claro que el mejor navegador es el OWB de MorphOS.

Do you have on such YAM2.9p1 messages/mailboxes?
IIRC YAM2.10dev changes its internal structure of messages/mailboxes and you CAN'T go back to 2.9p1 without "loosing" those messages.
Or was such feature added on YAM2.9?? Can't remember right now.

Just to by on the safe side, clone your YAM drawer and download YAM2.10dev and install it on the cloned one and try if you can get/send messages.
