I started to post some pictures of my new A1-XE/G4 when I started the installation. Since then I had a dead cpu
But you can enjoy the first pictures There..
(The Home will be find There.)
They are not of great quality, but I will upload more (and better ones) once my A1XE is up and running...

If we could have more pictures of cases currently housing A1, it may help potential customer to decide on their purchase ?

@Troll

I tried so many things with The_Editor (including different cpu/gfx/ram), we swapped the flashrom, and with Rigo we all concluded that the cpu modules was dead... Well I may have a new cpu module really soon... And to use again Amiga as my main machine, I can wait... And I am convinced that it will be sorted really soon !

@NutsAboutAmiga

We tried that

Jerry's machine spins up... and thats it !!

NO display. NO debug info over serial to pc

We test set up the null modem with my A1.. working.. put jerry's in place.

ZIP :(

Tested my RAM.. Graphics Card (Radeon 8500)in his machine ... & tested Jerry's KickROM in my machine (hated pulling that out - but it proved nothing was wrong with Jerry's)

@ Jerry..

Ok.. Try NutsAboutAmigas suggestion again..

cross the jumper next to the battery coz I cant remember if we did that. (remove battery first)

@NutsAboutAmiga

I will try that at the weekend. I already tried with a different battery from an working Appolo Accelerator card...

BUT, if the battery is the problem, we would still have an output of the flashrom through the Null Modem cable, isn't it ?

Jerry

Is it JP19 ? (It seems to be the closest to the battery).

@The_Editor

I just add a PM from NutsAboutAmiga and didn't have any success.

So today I am going to buy a brand new battery and try....

@The_Editor

I didn't need to go to PCWorld... John Lewis had the right model. Unfortunatly it didn't help.

The problem now could be:
1.> the cpu
2.> The mobo itself
