For those who didn't believe this would happen; I told you so !

Just read several posts around, how Mos support is back, then the real story comes out.

Re: Chocolate Castle (MOS)

We would be happy to add AROS to the operating systems shown here:

http://www.genesi.lu/presentation.php

We would be willing to throw in an ODW up front and then the bounty can be awarded when the port is done.

R&B

better see some cash upfront on that bounty...

@Interesting

Wonder why he wants that all of a sudden ?

Good news for AROS though if it helps speed up development

@Interesting

They always wanted to have it running on the Peg. Maybe they are trying some more this time.

The presentation video is excellent - very professional. If only the skills of all Amiga companies could be brought together in one effort.

SoBBRV haven't abandoned MorphOS on the Peg? It's all cool if it helps AROS develop faster.

Or perhaps _someone_ (anyone?) could show EyeTech how to build a modern web site and/or market a product?

Sorry, I've got my XE...but Genesi has gotten Peg Linux support into mainstream distros, has ~$250 CPU replacements, and actually _marketed_ the Peg to some extent.

Compare to EyeTech- hmm, flash and js vs HTML 3.2/frames?

Worse, I'd _rather_ see the A1/EyeTech succeed...but I see little indication of desire to. How about a few A1 systems to actually _promote_ AOS4 app development?

You don't need JS/Flash to make a good design, you just need to hire a good designer if you don't have one inhouse (and Eyetech doesn't seems to).

Eyetech's website does suck. Genesi have an excellent PR machine with BBRV, but I'm sure most Amigans now wouldn't want to touch their stuff due to all the bs that has gone on. Eyetech needs 4 things imo:

1. a nice website (come on guys, hire a college kid to do it).
2. boards that don't have hardware bugs -- the ua1c is a great start in this regard.
3. stronger involvement in providing linux support.
4. OS 4 final -- I predict that sales will explode if eyetech puts out a new board at the same time OS 4 final is ready.

It's bloody awful, the links take you around in circles, and prices and the item descriptions appear to be on seperate locations on the site, and most of the items in the first place don't have pictures.

The website itself says...

Not all products have a product information sheet

Would you really want to be involved with BBRV after the press they have had? If anything I see it as bad news for AROS. To be honest I can only see dark clouds over Amidom...

Geneis has a very professional web presence, that's true, but...

As long as he/she/it doesn't appear in a forum. You should check out the ramblings that he did on numerous occasions - the leaked Fleecy email (where he/she/it afterwards claimed it was a "drunken employee"), the leaking of private phone numbers of people that had pressed him in public, the thing with OS 4 running on the Pegasos ("one of you guys will make it happen")...

Just to mention a few.
