Great work Paul - let's hope this comes off. It would be a mighty deed if it did. :)

Good on you.

This is def. a step in the right direction. Hopefully something will come from it

In any case, it's always good to make our voices heard in a multi-format mag - since there is no longer an Amiga-specific mag on the newstands - especially one which covers so many formats, all competing for column space.

It would be a mighty deed indeed! Let's all hope that this time it WILL happen!

@thread

I just saw some slightly related details (or lack of them) on another videogaming site:

Here's ign.com's PS2 release schedule:

http://ps2.ign.com/release/

About 80% of the way down the list is a mention of Putty Squad, with a release date of "TBA 2006". It's listed as being published by Play It software, who seem to find unfinished games or ones that were produced on other platforms but the PS2 version was dropped. ign.com also has an entry for Putty Squad here:

http://ps2.ign.com/objects/685/685742.html

which has no information at all. I guess I'm really wondering if the interest created here about Putty Squad has got some gaming sites very confused!

Michael.

I just stumbled on this old thread.

What with this, Shenmue 3, Final Fantasy 7 & plenty more all being brought back from the dead, it's nice to know that fans are listened to :)

You haven't aged a bit! Your avatar from ten years ago looks the same as your one today.

And after all that time, you got your wish. Hope you enjoy it.

@Hypex

And when I play said games, I don't feel aged at all. Currently enjoying Elite Dangerous & Shenmue 1 (2 later). It's good to game.

As for Putty Squad, the gameplay & platforming is tight, the levels are well designed & the audio (Both music & SFX) are as fun as the demo indicated. Cracking piece of work.
