jeremy reimer over at ars has provided an excellent first part in the history of the amiga. the first part covering the very early years that led up to hi-toro and what would become the amiga.

Ars Technica - History of the Amiga, Part 1

definitely worth a read and im very much looking forward to the coming parts.

I only took a brief look at the first two paragraphs because something like this needs to be read more carefully and more quietly. At night i will take a look at it. From what i can see, it's going to be a very interesting read. Thanks to Jeremy Reimer for posting this. Can't wait for more parts.
