@Bit7

It looks like some ex-amigans were involved in this one.

Anyway, piratebay the torrent tracker has also a guru meditation software failure!

Do the coders know what they've let themselves in for?

'Guru Meditation is an important part of Amiga's future. In fact Guru MediationNG will be even better than blue-screen-of-death. After months of fruitless negotiation, and offering financial compensation to the tune of several million dollars, we had no alternative but to take legal action against the creators of the (probably illegal) WinAmp'

Looks nice!!

Did you know that WinAmp originated on the Amiga? I don't remember the name, I think it was "AmigaAMP" or something; but nonetheless, WinAMP was written by Amiga coders!!

@voyager2007

Heh, no, AmigaAMP and such were created after WinAMP.

But keep in mind that there were a lot od developers working on Amiga software, once. A lot of them is still doing software, "only" the platform changed.

@yak

Strange. I remember checking out AmigaAMP before WinAMP. But I used my A-3000 until 2001, so it could've been after WinAMP was developed, but I thought it was before that, perhaps 1995.

I scoured the web for some info, but didn't find anything about the AmigaAMP history.
