Interesting bit here like...
Quote:
2001-2002: Board of Directors, KMOS, Inc. (now Amiga, Inc.), New York, NY.

No mention of being CEO. And the years listed are odd, no?

Quote:
Interview with KMOS CEO Garry Hare (25-Mar-2004)

Quote:
Question 1.6: How long have you been CEO of KMOS Incorporated?Garry: Since its inception.

Erm...

@billt

pardon me, but I don't see "CEO of KMOS" in your quotes.

Oh come ON! It is there! Can't you see the word CEO there in the quote?

Heh heh, it's quite easy to overlook when the quote uses the actual words CEO stands for, "Chief Executive Officer," rather than just the acronym.

In the same context, some of you probably don't know what trinitrotoluene is.

This one is the quote we are talking about. There is indeed no mention of the acronym CEO here. #6 talks about KMOS, not the several successors named Amiga Inc. (insert favourite state here) or anything else.

..and more typos

Exactly.
No man who has been a "president" or a "CEO" would leave that off a resume.

Garry always claimed to be CEO of KMOS and the Amigaworld quote from him proves that absolutely clearly.

So...why does his resume show him only a board member...and...
Why does the resume for KMOS show him only there 2001-2002, when the Amigaworld comment about being CEO is from 2004?

Well, we DO have this regarding the secret settlement talks between Garry Hare and Amiga Inc.:

Quote:
*** May 18, 2006: The New York Judge dismisses Amiga's complaint, arguing that ""The language of the Agreement could not be more clear that it was [Amiga's] responsibility, not [Hare's] responsibility, to secure the $1,000,000.
""Presumably, the proceedings in private arbitration have been ongoing and may be concluded by this time. However, such proceedings are not public, which is one of the reasons for using such arbitration in the first place.

I suppose there could be some connection.

Maybe its AInc. attempt to rewrite history to better fit there laysut.. who know, maybe they'll update it again tomorrow to better reflect there story.

Anyway.. I really doubt they have there papers in order so they can prove an extual fact of events. I really think they'll back date any document as it suts them.

What was his role with KMOS / Amiga? Looking at his opening statement, this is not the guy I want to run a computer company.

"My work involves applying the psychological concept of identity to nations to determine the consequences of social media for policymaking, public opinion, and how a country sees itself. "

They should have focused on a guy who could just get an OS and computer out the door first and worry about the touchy feely stuff later..

They chose him because he brought with him a promise to pull in $ 1 million to the company. Any other reason can not I see.
