Hi everybody,

as the title says, I am asking you to contribute to a sort of compatibility list regarding OS4.1 on SAM. It would also be interesting to see which 68k Apps run on SAM/4.1. I know, that most of the time an application can then run under OS4.1 and AmigaOne/Micro as well. I will post the link to this thread into other forums as well.

MAYBE THE ADMIN CAN MAKE THIS ONE "STICKY" OR MAINTAIN AN EXTRA LINK/SITE FOR THIS...

I remember a couple of websites which did exactly the same for AmigaOnes and OS 4.0; one of them was AHS. In my opinion it would be better to add all the information there instead of starting from scratch with a new database.

I second that! Do not put simmilar info in different places, please. I know it's nowadays very Amigaish to reinvent wheels (or BoingBalls, for that matter) and divert energy in mutually comparable efforts.

Yes, fair enough... but i did not find any on OS4.1/SAM. So therefore we donnot have to reinvent the wheel, but make people aware, so that they can contribute with NEW Infos.
I just chose this place, because it is a more international forum and people round the world can say "We already got it".
So keep the links coming if you find something, otherwise we should collect and edit and put it up here or elsewhere.

I know there is a place about OS4 an partwise OS4.1 Hardware compatibility in German, this could be a beginning: OS4Welt

I have the Kingston DataTraveler DT 1 e 2 GB works fine on Sam440 + OS4.1.

I have a Logitech Y-RH35 cordless keyboard and M-RP67 cordless mouse hooked to my top rear usb slot.
Also ms usb wireless notebook optical mouse 3000 works.Memorex usb 500mb stick.
Also a 1,2,8,and 16g/b usb sticks that show on the workbench screen,but no vendor info.
Seagate 300G/B Sata HD.A LG electronics HG20LS10 DVD rewriter.And my all 4 USB ports work.

OK.

Sapphire Radeon 9250 128MB is not working. Workbench doesn't load. It freezes on "AmigaOS 4.1" logo.

Try changing the monitor tooltypes to INTERRUPT=NO
SOFTSPRITE may also help

Hi Guys

IntuitionBase.com is still alive, I've just renewd the domain again for a further 12 months. We are still doing on average 80GB a month network transfer and some 4000 hits a month.

I realise the site has become somewhat outdated and I would love to get it back into a useable state.

If anyone out here has the time and skills to take the site on please do get in touch with me.

There would be a couple of ground rules of cause but all I want is for IntuitionBase.com to become usefull once more.

Nope. I tried my Radeon 7000 again with Interrupts on, and it freezes after that point, on a blank black screen. It is however worth a try, and should continue to work even if you put the old card back in (you can always boot off the CD anyway)

Yes. He said about a new release of UBoot that works with Sapphire Radeon 9250 and of course dual monitor support.
