One Peg1 April1 at home, runs MorphOS 1.4.5 & 2.2. AOS4 could be an enrichment, but up to now I am quite satisfied with MorphOS. _________________ My programs: via.bckrs.de MorphOS user since V0.4 (2001) |

| I got one, no aprilfixes on it though :/ But i would probably buy OS4.1 if it was released for it (perhaps it would work ok with PIO-mode) Last edited by fryguy on 01-Feb-2009 at 10:10 PM.

There is actually an official poll created in relation to Pegasos 1 owners and OS4 on the front page (which I created several hours ago). _________________ Test sig (new) |

I got 1 here, specs in my sig...
I'm hoping an easy port of OS4.1 to the Peg1 is possible...

I'm not really sure I know how to answer you.
I have a disconnected and unused Peg I board in my shed (which i probably should put on e-bay one-day i suppose)
Any idea how much they are worth???

around $150 US$ if its just the board, more if its built into a system.
I'm curious about how many peg1's made it to oz and are still in use..
I run MorphOS2.2 on my peg1 and its great, though I only boot it up once or twice a week (lack of time mainly)._________________ Men who have girlies in their avatars are Girliemen! |

I believe its better to ask in some MOS forum or Amiga.org since until recently PegII owners were not inspired to use OS4 Amigaworld
Maybe now they should first be invited to AmigaOS 4.x world _________________ Future Acube and MOS supporter, fi di good, nothing fi di unprofessionals. Learn it harder way! |

Apparently approximately 600 were produced, and there was a program to trade them in for Peg2's....so the number remaining actually working and in use is probably very low. I would estimate less than 300.

and a lot of people didn't switch to Peg2 because Peg1 April2 worked fairly well and Altivec was useless on 1.4.x. You had to pay more than 200Euros for the upgrade.
I know at least the same number of peg1 users than peg2 ones. _________________ The only spanish amiga news web page/club: CUAZ |

But is that number more or less than one?
@Everyone else
What happened to all the Peg 1s that got traded in for Peg2? _________________ Rage quited 29th May 2011 |
