HI folks!

Some years ago, I just adquired a second hand CD32 with the FWSI module (Wall Street Institute).

You can take a look here of this stuff:

http://www.cd32-allianz.de/cd32tuning/wallstreet

The problem is when I plug this thing to my CD32, I cannot use the CD32 pad, only the first two buttons. So I cannot play CD32 games that use all pad buttons (like James pond II, Super Stardust)

When I plug the FWSI, Super StarDust show that don´t have memory to start the game, but wht I unplug the FWSI I can start Super Stardut and use the CD32 pads

So the FWSI have "anything" that don´t let my CD32 works has CD32.

I need some help please!!!!

hey man,long time no see.
This addon has 3.0 KS so thats why u can only use 2 buttons.

Softkick your cd32 (with a floppy or a cd with required files (any 3.1 kickswitch software) to 3.1 kickstart and then start the games.

Yes its annoying (longer boot times) but as far as i know its the only way to make it fully "cd32" compatible.

good luck.

(iirc you can use a os3.5\3.9 cd to boot into 3.1 kickstart roms)[quote]

@ID4

hmm, i am pretty sure there is KS3.0 chips on the expansion and thoose will override the main ones when you boot with that unit connected. Check early boot menu screen (both mouse buttons on a reboot).
Anyway, all i recall from the old days of this is that some software and hardware will disable the "more than 2 buttons support". i will dig around some when i have some time.

Not sure which is the best softkick to use but i did use one on the cd32 so there is one that defitinly works with it.
