You have been blacklisted by trend micro.

Look up your domain here:
http://reclassify.wrs.trendmicro.com/wrsonlinequery.aspx

Please contact them and sort it out. Your site seems fine to me, but for some reason they label your site as "This URL is currently listed as malicious".

As such computers using Trend Micro will not go to your site.

@broadblues

I've sent an report to trend micro. I won't bother anymore with this. At least not until I buy a Sam440 flex and OS 4.1

I also browsed another well known amiga site today, and again both my virus protection programs went off. At this other site it was malicious ads.

Are amigans not concerned with security, do they not bother about viruses?

I'm kinda depressed about this sad on behalf of the community.

I don't get any warnings when visiting os4depot.net, and never have. Utilitybase did have a trojan for a while, but that's been fixed. It is possible that your computer is already infected with a virus.

Trend definitely sees it as malicious:

Quote:
Trend Micro Web Reputation Query - Online System

os4depot.net

Web reputation result: This URL is currently listed as malicious.

http://reclassify.wrs.trendmicro.com/wrsonlinequery.aspx

Unfortunately they don't list the reason they think that.

@Hans

Both my company and my client use Trend Micro. Both block os4depot. It's an erronous ranking of os4depot.net by them.

I have contacted them about it and so it seems the webmaster have too.

Now, recently a well known page had to be taken down due to viruses/trojan and as you say so have utilitybase.

The site I visited today was linking to services at cbox.ws, trend micro have had incidents with that domain, and so they have chosen to black list it. And when visiting the site a js virus was caught.

Since lucky sploit and other similar trojans that expoit the vurnerabilites in IE, and hackers delight at injecting them in php community software around at various sites. It seems that we as a community are overrun.

I'm glad sites are taking steps to rectify incidents, but this is my experience: In my job I have to browse and read various comminity sites all over the web (programming, trade, blogs, forums, wikis, etc), and over many years only one site was under maintenance for security infractions.

These last months since the IE exploits have been in the wild several sites have poped up on the virus/trojan radar. Many of them game and retro oriented, some amiga sites too.

This worries me.

I am safe, I use FireFox with the appropriate addons. I use firewall and virus checker. I understand that most amigians use Netsurf, FireFox, OWB, IBrowse, Voyager, Lynxx or Aweb. But still there is a small fraction who use IE, and again an even smaller fraction of them are unpatched un secured XP/Vista installs.

But still, it's a pain in the (_,_) to wait while the site gets white listed again...

What highly annoys me is there is no one looking after that site (Utilitybase). My account there is still affected by the new theme I selected in preferences. Everytime I login all I get is an advert in the top left corner... that's it... (all I want is an Admin to remove the theme or change my settings to default?)

I've tried logging in under another name and posting about it, I've tried mailing the Admin on Amigans and Nothing...

As a result I no longer go to the site... why do things lack or lapse... why begin the damn things in the first place...

heh, don't mean to cry on your shoulder there Hans

I remember when i had listen.to/transplant page that redirected to my real page.
Some nuthead reported me as a spammer on some amiga mailinglist.
And thats as i had my page as a signature. It said transplant music and thats
ofcourse as i made music. So the one that reported me told them it was a misstake
and me too. So they opened it up again.

Next thing if i remember right was i had an add for amigbg05 on my page.
So a user reported me again and this time they didnt want to listen, nor
give me the email to the one that reported me or maybe i was in contact with
him but didnt wanted to help. Something like that. Was many years ago.
Ofcourse it was a free service but still, i used that forward link for ages.

Now i pay for another service and never had any problems or reports.
I just wish that times people that reports could first try to contact me
before "thinking" im a spammer. Im the one that should have a chance
to explain im right or not. Its my page :)
