@AmiKit

The only thing I can find for the 2 shows that used to preceed AmiWest is this bit:

http://aiconf.radicadesign.com

You might remember that as of last year the aiconf replaced Codex Alpe Adria.

Found this in regards to Pianeta:

Pianeta is coming! The details will be revealed on coming days.

@AmiKit

I e-mailed ACube a few days ago in regards to the next PA2009 while I was asking for some hardware. I've been told that the problem was where to host it, since the old building seems no longer available.

Judging from the last quote though, problems should be solved.

Let's hope for it!

Regards

g0blin

@AmiKit

I was hoping to attend Pianeta 2009 having missed last years event due to work commitments. Unfortunately, I am unable to attend as I will be traveling in the North of England. It is an excellent event and I am disappointed I will miss it again this year.

@sundown

The organizers are working hard to bring another wonderful PA to all amigans. There are lot of things to do, but they are keep working. I'm quite sure that all the attended people will be not deluded, to the contrary... will be surprised.

@AmigaBlitter

I think sundown is just referring to being sure the date for the show is the same in all places, since knowing when the show IS, helps in planning ahead for potential attendees.

I am trying to decide if I can go but details of show day/days are conflicting. Any news when show is so I can decide whether or not to go along.

@clusteruk

The date of Pianeta Amiga will be Saturday 26th September 2009

The website will be updated with the correct details.

Getting to Pianeta Amiga from Pisa Airport
Easiest route from the UK is to take a EasyJet / RyanAir / BA flight to Pisa Airport and then take the train from just outside the airport direct to Empoli (every hour).

You can check train times on the TrenItalia website. Website is in English which is helpful and tickets can be booked at Pisa Airport on the day at the information desk (they speak English).

In the website enter Empoli as destination from Pisa AE. Journey time is around 55 minutes.

Hope this helps you.

@amigakit

Is it Saturday and Sunday like last year?

Are there any evening get togethers, which hotel are most people staying in.
