I recommend that you find a simple photo gallery module for your website. There are plenty of them around, and they're pretty easy to setup. Directory listing such as what you're using currently are rather slow tedious to use.
Or use something like Flickr or Picasa; they make it pretty easy to share photos, and you can embed their slideshows into your website.
EDIT: Nice photos though.
If need be, I could probably host photo collections from events on my website for those who don't have a photo gallery feature on their own websites. The photo gallery software that I use auto-generates the thumbnails, and shows photos in a popup window (e.g., the MiniGL gallery). It's not quite how I'd like it, but it's good enough.

or use AWeb to browse his directory.
(with an external picture viewer configured of course)
One of the deficiencies of these so called "modern" browsers is that they insist on displaying images inline, and thus making a mountain outof a molehill.
AWeb + multiview = bliss

| There's also a video, it's a weird format (m4v) but vlc can play it fine. It's come out a bit jumpy, looks like iMovie has changed the framerate, grr.
I was going to upload the original but it's a 180MB file and I think most people might have a bit of a problem playing h.264 @ 1080p.
BTW I usually do an html page with the pics manually but I'm just lazy at the minute

Yep, H.264 at 1080p is too much for my laptop. Transcoding to DIVX should let single-core machines play it.

That's nothing. I'm so lazy that I use a tool to generate the page for me.
