@Stephen_Robinson

OP is a query about the last part, video bus, on a BlizzardPPC/BVision system. If it doesn't work, maybe the program needs a fix.

@delshay

I'll fix the video test ASAP.

For your information, the video write speed of a CSPPC/CVision PPC is 25 MB/Sec, and for BPPC/BVision, is a bit more than half. Can't remember the read speed.

To do this test, I open a very small intuition screen and lock it to read/write on it. Unfortunately, on some systems, P96 doesn't lock this screen, I don't understand why. If a coder can help me...

@Spectre660: That's the second time I see a such L1 problem on a Sam, I really don't understand what can cause this problem, but I'll have a look.

EDIT: Ok, try this.
http://crisot.free.fr/universe/files/RageMem.lha

Contain 2 versions, A and B. Both versions contain a different "fix" for the L1 and the Video problem. Try them and tell me please. Sorry, that's really noob job, but I don't actually have the time to search for a real fix, so let's try step by step

its going to be a very interesting result as soon as i have time to test,as my Blizzard/Bvision has a very high speed bus & it does not always need to be Overclocked to gain this speed.

im not sure but i think my Blizzard PPC/Bvision may possibley outperform a Cyberstorm PPC 400Mhz/Cvision in *GFX only*, untill the modifcation is on a Cvision PPC card,but in outright performance in both CPU & GFX its faster than a Cyberstorm PPC 200Mhz /Cvision combo with more to come.

as some you already Know my Bvision has gone from special to super special as it`s the first Bvision in the world to have a 250Mhz RamDac

to give you a idea how fast my card is i dont need to use a screen mode lower than 800x600 that includes PPC games and a prelude sound card attached with setting set very high OS3.9.

workbench screen is standard 1024x768 for OS3.9 & OS4.0.

How does the "TRICKY" wriute test work?
What is different to the normal write test?

Where is the source of the program?

Interesting RAM speed, especially Peg2 vs. Sam440. I don't trust the A1-XE RAM speed results though.
