Just solved the face texture issue and the disappearing wheels in game.

Only the logo didn't quite make it...

Anyway I will try to replace the old file in the AROS-ARCHIVES! (Sorry for the double submission ppl)

@xeno74

You're welcome - I had already seen that image on your site! Really great!
It's good to see the Kitty running on Amiga NG OS!

Edit: Like I said - The model has been done by Tommywright - I just did the conversion and work on the icons and textures for 0.62. All due credit is to him (and to Eric Schwartz for creating Kitty in 1st place)!

@all

AROS Kitty kart has been uploaded to http://stkaddons.net/

The new versions of STK 0.71+ allow direct download from this site (you can still download it at Karts available (0.7+ only)).
But the great news is that it has been flagged as "Featured" which means:
Quote:
This add-on is verified to be of extremely high quality, and functions very well in actual gameplay (i.e. physics, fun-value, appearance, etc.)

And also great is the message that reports the overall download items (in the main page) and that currently reads:
Quote:
The most downloaded kart is Kitty.

Great artistic value and sure deserved applause for Tommywright!

Note: Bear in mind that AROS/MorphOS/AmigaOS4 version of STK only reaches 0.62 - So it's another OS versions users downloading Kitty! Impressive!...

Cheers

Thank you for testing! Could you post a screenshot of STK 0.6.2a in a windowed mode, please? On which AMIGA one have you tested STK?

@xeno74

It does not work on my AmigaOne X1000 + Radeon HD 7950 + RadeonHD driver v2.10 + Warp3D SI, i get a black screen and hangs X1000, Cow3D works 160-165 fps.

anyone else having problems with music playing getting cut off after about 5 minutes of play??

getting the following warning after quiting the game:

WARNING: Attempt to stream music into buffer failed twice in a row.
WARNING: Music not playing when it should be. Source state: 4116

btw, great to be able to play again on my miggy thanks to Warp3D

hmm is there a new version perhaps??

@ Fernecho

As per the thread over at amigans, I've got the exact same card and the problem was solved as per Han's instructions below:

"Do you guys have custom monitor settings in DEVS:Monitors? If so, then what's probably happening is that those settings are in a monitor file specific to your old card, and the system is using the default settings (i.e., use DDC) for your new card. That way you end up with a different set of modes (with different modeids).

The easiest way to avoid this is to rename the monitor file to "Radeon," change the BOARDNAME tooltype to "Radeon" and the CMPLENGTH tooltype to 6."
